History
The Oklahoma Well Log Library (OWLL) is a non-profit organization (501 C-3) for geologists, geoscientists, engineers, and landmen engaged in oil and gas exploration, production operations, and any professional requiring geological research data.
The library has an extensive historical collection of production records, scout cards, well logs, and base maps. Our data covers all 77 counties in Oklahoma and additional information can be found for Texas Panhandle (District 10), Kansas, Northwest Arkansas, and Southeastern Colorado. Our files contain current and historical well data, including unique data sets that cannot be found anywhere else.
The Oklahoma well log library is the first stop for many and is an essential resource to those in the oil and gas profession.
OWLL is a membership-owned library but is also available for use and benefit of the general public. We support college students and faculty, waiving access fees for those with university IDs. We also have reciprocal agreements with other geological libraries in Texas and Oklahoma.
